On the Eve of our Journey

So it seems that we're trekking into one of the worst heat waves on record for the US. Luckily, Winston got a haircut on Monday, and we're leaving our window-unit apartment for central air. We begin early tomorrow; Winston's bags are already packed. This is what we've packed for him:

Plenty of food

2 leashes--regular for walking and his extension leash for long walks.

3 bottles of water

2 bowls

Treats

a huge bully stick

towels

brush

puppy wipes

a harness for the seatbelt

We depart early! I'm starting the drive since I'm more of a morning person than my other half.
